Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Course Caddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Course Caddy is a mobile application that helps golfers calculate adjusted club distances based on environmental conditions including temperature, elevation, and humidity.
Base Features (Included with $4.99 Purchase):
- Golf bag management with club distances
- Environmental condition adjustments (manual entry)
- Baseline variable configuration
- Distance calculations based on temperature, elevation, and humidity
Pro Features (Requires $2.99/month Subscription):
- Auto-fill weather from GPS or city search
- Wind calculator
- Print custom yardage cards
- Multiple golf bag storage (up to 5)
- Real-time weather updates every 30 minutes
Purchase Terms
Base App Purchase ($4.99)
- Type: One-time, non-consumable purchase
- Access: Permanent access to all base features
- Required: This purchase is required to use the app
- Non-Refundable: Purchases are final, subject to Apple's refund policy
- Device: Purchase is tied to your Apple ID and syncs across devices
- Forever: You retain base features permanently, even if you later cancel Pro subscription
Pro Subscription ($2.99/month)
- Requires: Base app purchase ($4.99) must be completed first
- Free Trial: 1-day free trial for new Pro subscribers
- Billing: Charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
- Auto-Renewal: Automatically renews unless cancelled 24 hours before period ends
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- No Refunds: No refunds for partial subscription periods
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice
- Lapsed Subscription: If subscription ends or payment fails, you revert to base features only (you do NOT lose the $4.99 base app)
Subscription Management
- Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID
- To cancel: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Course Caddy Pro
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing period
- You retain Pro access until subscription expires
Restore Purchases
- Previous purchases can be restored at no cost
- Tap "Restore Purchases" in the upgrade screen
- Must use the same Apple ID as original purchase
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App for lawful purposes only
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Not use automated systems to access the App
- Not misrepresent golf distances or environmental conditions
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
- Distance Calculations: Provided for informational purposes only
- Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy of distance adjustments
- Weather Data: Weather information is sourced from third parties
- Golf Performance: We make no guarantees about golf performance improvement
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App
- We are not responsible for incorrect distance calculations
- We are not liable for decisions made based on App recommendations
- Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App
Weather Data
- Weather data provided by Open-Meteo API
- We are not responsible for weather data accuracy or availability
- Weather features require internet connection
- Location permissions required for GPS-based weather
Intellectual Property
- Course Caddy and all content are owned by Course Caddy LLC
- You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
- Golf bag data you create remains your property
Data and Privacy
- Your data privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy
- Golf bag data is stored locally on your device
- We do not collect or store personal information
- Location data is only used for weather services when permitted
Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms
- Modify or discontinue the App at any time
- Change features or pricing with reasonable notice
Your rights upon termination:
- Lifetime purchases remain valid per Apple's terms
- Active subscriptions continue until period ends
- Local golf bag data remains on your device
Apple App Store Terms
- Purchases are subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA)
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
- Apple is not obligated to provide support or maintenance
- In case of failure to conform to warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund
Geographic Restrictions
- The App is available worldwide where App Store operates
- Weather features may not be available in all regions
- Compliance with local laws is your responsibility
Updates and Changes
We may:
- Update the App to add features or fix bugs
- Modify these Terms with notice in the App
- Require acceptance of new Terms to continue using the App

Governing Law

BY USING COURSE CADDY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
